Rani Mukherjee roped in as judge of DPL

Rani Mukherjee is finally on board as judge of Sony's Dance Premier League. Earlier, Madhuri Dixit was almost finalized to be part of the big and unique show, but the unavailability of a nanny to take care of her kids resulted in her backing out of the show.

According to our source, "The production house tried all ways possible to get Madhuri in. But it could not happen, and it was then that they approached Rani Mukherjee as judge. Rani has a bigger reason to be part of the show.
As her latest film on which she had high hopes, Dil Bole Hadippa fared miserably at the box office. Rani now feels that DPL is the best way to stay in the limelight".Mohammad Morani of Cineyug told us, "Madhuri is not doing the show.
